The patch gave the class a huge boost, and many players felt the Black Mages were overpowered, as a result. Naoki Yoshida appears to agree, as the producer and director announced that the chapter will see additional tweaks in Patch 6.15, which is set to release on June 7. The mod was determined by looking at Crystalline Conflict’s win rates, but Yoshida decided to reverse course after an investigation fought in it against several other players.

The producer and director apologized for the situation, and promised that Square Enix would keep that in mind in the future.
Balance issues can be a real problem when it comes to games like Final Fantasy XIVIt is not difficult to see how these problems arise. We hope Patch 6.15 will correct these issues, and make the game more enjoyable for all players!
